Don't hear a change you made? When I change the song settings and there's no change after I generate and play, I often see I have frozen my tracks and need to unfreeze them for my change to be heard.

For a count-in of more than two bars, I typically create a four bar Intro and silence/mute the individual instruments (except for the drums of course).
