Mario: yes. I was thinking of the fact that it perhaps needed a breath of two in the VSTs. On the other hand, that's why we have VSTs, right? to do what the "normal" instrument can't do. I'll reflect on it, but you have a very, very good point there! Thanks for your wonderful comments!

Robert: have had a bit of a writer's block, of late (to put it mildly, haha), so I've avoided writing lyrics for a while. The good news is that the clouds seem to be lifting, at long last - and now it's just a question of finding the time to sit and write.
