Pleasant chord progression takes me to under the Caribbean sun from the cloudy 0C weather here. BIAB Santana brings cool jazzy drinks, the sax adds wistful moments towards the night. Different percussions work seamlessly together. Thanks for this musical holiday gift! Happy holidays and many new tunes for the new year 2025!
Janne Hi Janne, Well, I did let a little bit of the Santana vibe out of the bottle as I was putting this one together. If you're paying, I'll take one of those cool, jazzy drinks! Great mix also.
With some sustained below normal temps here we could use some of that warmth!

Alan,
I'm always amazed at your ability to knock out a super sounding arrangement from these RealTracks! I know there's a temptation to rush things to get a finished product when doing these but it's obvious that you put a lot of TLC into this production! You've crafted a true feel of tropical island life here!
I will keep you and Di in my prayers because I know you are dealing with a lot of stress and concern that few of us can relate to!

J&B Howdy Folks, Hope you had a good Christmas. We not yet had our Christmas get-together as Di has been very sick - but probably within the next three or four days. I appreciate those kind and supportive comments. i was lucky to have found the tracks I wanted rather quickly, with the exception of the various percussion elements. It took a couple of hours to sample enough percussion tracks to decide on which ones, and then another couple of hours determining when and where to alternate them in the mix and at what volume. But, in the end, I think it was worth the effort. iwas pleased with the final mix. Ya'll take care and we hope 2025 is a terrific year for both of you. Alan

I've read where quite a few folks on the forum mentioning they couldn't get satisfactory sounds from them. But they've always come through for me. Happy new Year! Alan

God bless and take care, TB Hi Torrey, It's very kind of you say such nice things about my music. i sincerely appreciate it. I put quite a bit more time into this one than I do on most of my songs. But i think it was worth the extra effort. I liked the final cut. I've always enjoyed most Latin and tropical music - it has such a fun quality about it with a lot of energy. There is, indeed, quite a bit of stress with being a caretaker, but if you love them, you do all within your abilities to care for them. My reward is knowing she is still here with me. And know first-hand how you've been on an emotional ride the past few months. Will continue to keep you in my prayers. God Bless. Alan
