Since I don't know country _at all_, I don't really care if it's hardcore or not - what I hear is an excellent song with fantastic harmonies. Hardcore or not, I like it! By the way, your vocals don't sound that dissimilar to Floyd's, especially the harmonies. Brother from another mother?

Hi, Paul. Even before I saw your comments, the first thing I thought was "Well, that's a country song![/i]" Classic sound, and you know how to sing it. Nice harmonies. Nice write - I love how the song pounds in the hook, the way classic country should. I enjoyed this one a lot.

That's a gorgeous song. I played a lot of this kind of country in my gigging years.
I like everything about it from the vibrato guitar to the steel to the vocals and the groove.
This isn't a complaint. I would have replaced the constant steel in the background with acoustic guitar and a sparingly played piano for the background and fills in the verses. Where it picked up the solo was a perfect fill. That's just how I would have mixed it. Still totally enjoyed the song. Great job.
