Happy New Year Music Lovers, I hope everyone has been well. I have been MIA after a move and the holidays and a less than ideal recording environment, and I'm so happy to be recording again (despite the noises I cannot control!) I missed you all and hope to finally catch up on some of your offerings. MIssed you, Beth, but glad to still have your sounds on Soundcloud when you're busy with life stuff. I'm even happier that you're settled in your new place. Damn the neighbors; your creativity can't be held back. Love the harmony you add. You have such an engaging vocal. Fine lyrics, and you crafted the best background band. What a wonderfully inspirational song.

A pleasant sparse production. Works well for the gentle subject matter.
A very emotive vocal. Nice harmonies.

Sounds very good and has a great melody
The vocals and backing vocals really stand out
Ok. The transition at 2:56 could perhaps be improved (just my opinion)

Beth, beautiful song, beautifully performed. Your vocals have a gentle strength and lovely vibrato that work great for this type of softer tune. Those harmonies are very cool, too. SUPER job on the band and arrangement. You've got all the pieces laid in perfectly.

Very nice indie song with emotional lyrics. This is a well polished diamond, the band is calm and mellow and that solo guitarist fits the mood perfectly. And the best part is of course your vocals with a pleasant vibrato and excellent harmonies.

Excellent choice for accompaniment. It first perfectly. Such a beautiful melody and heartfelt performance. Some mentioned this was your best. I would certainly agree: Your best composition, performance, and production.

Beautiful new song, Beth. As ever I relate to the lyrics, particularly "… the only thing that I have ever wanted was to love" & "the only thing you've ever asked of me is to be." Lovely harmony vocals too, plus a cool instrumental end. I used the same guitar sample on "Moonlight On The Bay" and on a new instrumental I've only just finished.

My only suggestion:
I think you should use more of the lead guitar especially in that empty space before the outro to create interest.
