Alan,

Seriously??? You did this the two hours between midnight and 2 a.m.??? Wow, that's just impressive. It takes me months to write song it seems, and almost as long to record one. You are an inspiration! Pretty tune that falls easy on the ears . . . Just the right length too . . . it know right when and where to end. Excellent work on this Alan!!

I tell you that because I believe that it was a beautiful thing that your much loved puppy would have had much peace and contentment
departing this world from your loving and caring arms.

Your beautiful music is so much more deep and meaningful now.

Izzy,

That is so kind of you to say. And, so sorry to learn you had to experience this same sorrow. Lucy was almost 12 years old - very serious heart issues. We're pretty devastated.

Let's hope for a better year this year.

Wishing you the very best,

Alan

Thank you so very much. It just fell into place. There's not a single multiriff bar/measure. That doesn't happen too often.

Thank you for the encouraging and supportive comments.

Thank you very much, Nigel. I intentionally left those two clicks in the mix as I think they add some authenticity to the song. When I performed publicly, I wasn't always "error-free" with my parts. That was my guiding influence on that decision.

Wishing you the very best.

Hi Chay,

Most of my songs are put together in 2 - 6 hours. I'm not a perfectionist. I generally know when I've done the best can with my skill set - and good with that.

I sincerely appreciate your very nice words.

Wishing you the very best,

Charley,

I was in Savannah about 12 years ago. It is, indeed, a beautiful city with so much history. My daughter lived on Hilton Island at the time and we took a couple of days to see Savannah - glad we did!

And thank you for your very nice comments. Glad you enjoyed the listen.

Take care,

Alan

Hi Vic,

Thank you very much for your kindness in your comments for both the music and Lucy's final farewell. I'm glad I was able see her final breath as she looked at me as her last act before dying.

Good wishes and thoughts headed your way.

Hi Deej,

If I can inspire a fellow arti\st with my compositions, I feel I can get no other feedback that would exceed those words. Thank you - you touched my senses with that.

Very few of my musical creations take more than 6 hours to complete.

Again, than you so much. Hoping you have a great 2025!

Softly cinematic and that nylon was a great choice.

Howdy Folks,

It's always a pleasure when you drop in for a listen and leave a few words.

And I truly appreciate these words. You put a smile on my face after a very challenging day.

Hi Elliott.

No, it's not me. I'm dang near 80 years old the fingers don't play as cleanly as they used to. It's nylon guitar backing rack by Brent Mason. He's not too shabby, ya know!

Many thanks for the kind words.

Take care,

Alan

Lovely Alan, lovely.
The rimshot seems a bit loud in the 1st verse in particular.
