Marty,

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
And many thanks for listening to the both versions.
I am really glad you like this tune, lyricist, vocalist and my arrangement.
If the lyrics are well-organized, I write the music to go with them, but I tend to prefer writing the music first.
With this song, the melody came first, and I asked Ami to write the lyrics to go with it.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

David,

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
And many thanks for listening to the both versions.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I have a lot of string VST instruments, and there are certainly smoother string VST instruments that are closer to the real thing.
However, I prefer EastWest string VST instruments because I'm used to them and because I can adjust the dynamics of the playing with the touch (velocity) of the keys.
Many modern string VST instruments adjust the dynamics with a modulation wheel, and unfortunately I'm not used to that method.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.

Shigeki,

The live version is excellent . . . it has a liveliness and enthusiasm to it that the BIAB version can't capture. That might very well be simply the addition of the vocal in the live version. That said, the BIAB instrumental is equally compelling . . .beautiful mix that has challenges comparing to the live version only because the absence of the vocal. How do I say this . . . the BIAB version seems the better musical version, the live version seems more complete. Not sure if that makes sense. But they are both brilliant in their own right. Excellent!

Excellent song Shigeki. Awesome vocal. Really cool backtrack and instrumentation. I prefer the live versions of your songs as well...

Hi Shigeki Adachi.

You and your fellow musicians have, once again, made some mighty fine music. This is as professional as anything that I have ever heard. You, Ami Kato and Kazuhiko Matsumoto have created a truly wonderful work, and your musician friends have really empowered your creation with their expertise. Music doesn't get any better than this.

I listened to both versions and I really liked each one. The live performance was very engaging and it was easy to imagine the singer and the accompanying musicians on the stage. Your arrangements and your mixes are superb. I honestly have no idea how you manage to record and mix a live performance with such outstanding clarity. You have really impressive skills!

All the very best for 2025 smile

Good song with excellent arrangement. Vocalist was tops. You combine all your skills so well: BIAB, MIDI samples, and live instruments and vocals. Great work!

Noel,

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
And many thanks for listening to the both versions.
I am really glad you like this tune.
I also want to thank you for your kind words towards my friends.
I am truly grateful to the members of my music circle and Yamaha teachers.
My musical activities would not be possible without them.

There is a place in our area that will rent us a recording studio at a very low price.
The jacket photo is of that studio.
Instruments, amps, recording equipments, and an engineer are all provided.
Once we receive the multi-track recordings on the day, all we have to do is mix them at home.
I am always very encouraged by your kind words.

Best regards.
