I made a New Years resolution to record/video 1 song per week. Band In A Box Ultrpak 2024 for Mac is making it really easy to do just that.
The entry this week is "Softly As In A Morning Sunrise". Music by Sigmund Romberg. Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein and Frank Mandel. This song just became Public Domain this year.

I recorded myself using Logic Pro 11. Video was taken from an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Video was edited in Final Cut Pro.

Oh, man, Steve. I could name every saxaphonist from the 50s just by the sound, style and taste. You, sir, seem to have all the best of all of them in your superb technique. Then you add some of the best of every decade since, and make it all your own. On a Paul Desmond album jacket I forget who said, "He plays like a wet martini." This one you play like a Texas longhorn bull dancing through a china shop without breaking a thing. .
Terrific! Best I've heard from you yet! I tried to play sax, but I never could get a decent embouchure. Switched to chromatic harmonica and never looked back. Again, this was great, I could listen for hours.
