Good morning friends. It's been a while since I've posted as much of my SoundCloud content. Just showcases my voice singing ballots.Etc. this one is a new original song. I'm very happy with. I'm not exactly certain of the precise tracks I used, i send various versions to my producer. Donnie, who mixes the songs after i've finished and sung them. There are acoustic piano finger picked acoustic guitar string section string pad
Drums and bass and of course, my favorite comma the dream guitar. Believe it or not There are only a couple touches of auto tune and I hit the high notes at the end in full voice!
I can't always do it, but I was having a good day, ha ha ha.
Any at all comments would be deeply appreciated. Thanks everybody.

Steve, welcome back. Super song with gorgeous vocals. Love that vibrato. Your voice is so nice the delay tail is almost a distraction. Nice production that supports the vocals in interesting ways without getting in the way whatsoever.

Know what it's like to have good days vocally, though my best day is nothing like your worst, I'm sure. Ha!

Enjoyed your tune!

Really enjoyed the lyric—the rhyme scheme as well as the story. Loved the core idea of the story—I felt that each line supported the main idea perfectly. Also, the production didn’t get in the way of the vocal, and I liked how the higher register singing served to emphasize the “second time around” of the chorus. All around a great track, so glad I decided to listen.

Thanks Tano! As I said the lyrics actually evolved from more of a kid's song with unicorns and stuff but it morphed into a straightforward love song. I've heard differing opinions on the direction of the lyrics in the bridge but I chose not to second-guess myself and left them as is.
I truly appreciate the input!

Steve,

Good to have you back.

This is a terrific song, and your vocals really shine. I thoroughly enjoyed my listen. I particularly loved the full, lush soundstage. But again, your vocal stands out in a most pleasant way. Those high notes near and at the end were A+.

Alan

PS: If I had to pigeonhole it, I'd simply say Pop.

Thank you sir. What are the blessings of having a digital audio workstation is that you can go done and record when you're feeling like you're having a good voice day.
Like a good hair day. 😉

Terrific melody, sumptuous voice, I usually ask for a lyric sheet but your voice was so crystal clear I didn't need one. Great outing.

Thanks Tune.
I had sung the first version pretty well, but slopped on a few lyrics phrases, and enunciation, so I went back. I cleaned that all up. Sincerely appreciate the kind words.

Nicely written and performed.
I noted the vibrato on the end of alternate lines was, generally, the same.
It may be useful to occasionally skip the vibrato and introduce some variety as well as set up expectations that aren't always met.

Cheers

Lovely song and strong performance. Your upper range sounds good, it sounds like you didn't have any struggles that day. I don't know how many times I had to come back and re-record my vocal--with age comes inconsistency, I guess.

Thank you so much! Oh, there's always a fair amount of punch in and punch out. I tried to get it done in a single session, not particularly a single pass without resetting the gain structure. I like to get the enunciation and pitch and phrasing as good as I can before.I bounced down to a single vocal track.
Slicing and dicing the solos is a big help in kickwalk. Is well period
