I always enjoy your music. That chugging bass sets the mood very nicely. The syncopations were a nice treat.
IMO, the vocal is a little out front, but it didn't interfere with my enjoyment.

You do have a pleasent sound in your vocals. It doesn't matter, that it isn't in perfect pitch. Nice swinging song, thou a very short one. Maybe you could lenghten it in that old jazz way: repeating at the end the first verse or adding a solo verse.

Fun tune! Playful write with nice vocals. Like the choice of dry-ish vocal FX. Love your overall smooth throwback stylings. The vocal good lay back a bit more in the mix if you're looking for input. Nice one!

Nice laid back groove, and I like the stripped down approach.

Hi Tom,
The intro surprised me a bit, but you made it a very pleasant song.
And your vocals are very nice, bright with a little twist of humour in it (am I right?)
At least your humour can be seen/hear in your lyrics. Like them!
One small thing to pay attention to; sometimes your voice is too close to the mike, like at 0:51
Oh, I noticed some wrote that too.
And another thing, someone else said it and I agree; the song is a minute too short... ;-)

Good tune with interesting arrangement. I might've liked to have heard Natalie on this, but not bad as is. Vocal needs to sit in the mix better. I have a lot of trouble iwith that, too.

Thanks TuneM...it's my least favorite aspect of music creation. The songwriting and creative part is my main interest...I get frustrated trying to get the mix/production just right. I usually wind up settling for "just good enough" for my own ears.

Clever arrangement Tom! This has that classic swinging jazzy/blues vibe!
It's got minimal instrumentation but still gets the job done!
Nice job with all the shots/stops....they really add an extra dimension to the song!
