Excellent arrangement & driving rhythm. You definitely stepped up the game in your recording skills. Well mixed and listens well.
Theme? I agree it is sad to see what is happening around us. It's unfortunate that people forget history... or in many cases simply have no desire to learn what "cult of personality", or "cult of the leader" really means. To give you a first hand perspective of someone who attended US school system, there is almost nothing in high school curriculum concerning the subject.

Unfortunately there is always a guy to open the gas valve saying: it's the boss who told me to do it! Bravo for your song.
Laurent Hi Laurent, in one of my previous versions of the song I aimed on that guy you mentioned. I called the song You Coward, but than I changed the perspective of the song. That was when Gemany and Rumania had elections. (Ultra) Right was in favor and a guy named Vance promoted it all. It's the voters who have to use their brains. And thanks for your 'bravo'! "It seems the world has lost its mind." Yeah, not the best time to tap into the collective consciousness. Best thing is the songs that come out of times like this. I'd rather talk about that. Now this one is really good, and it lets us know there are still smart folks who can make good music. Like Bob TM said, a big embarrassment. Hello Marty, You know I mentioned your 'golden' tongue before. You know how to make good compliments wrapped in your nice comment on the song and sphere of it. Thank you for that! Your laidback blues made me feel better despite the sad message. I felt like I was with you in the car and hoping the sea would calm me more... Let's hope that reason will rise from the ruins left behind by clowns and their blind followers.
Another pleasant arrangement with nice chords, all instruments support your drive, The softer verses and the more powerful chorus show nice contrast. Brent solo works perfectly here. Your voice is strong as always and I really enjoyed those harmonies.

I'm lucky enough to live in a country that has compulsory voting. All fools vote but so do all the other groups - there's a balance.
Fools rarely notice their error - K/D Effect I suppose - unless those errors have a significant, rapid impact for the worse upon their lives.
I enjoyed the song & the theme.

Such a cool sound from your instrumentation along with that unique sound in the vocal harmony. The band you put together is a treat to listen to. The chorus hits the nail on the head. Hello Scott, you gave me a real present with your comment! Very nice of you. Thanks! The politics of the world, summarized in a single protest song. About the same in every country. Your lyrics express what pretty much everyone is thinking about the situation right now, and they do it really well. In some places the vocals sound a bit over-processed, but I guess that's intentional. I haven't heard that. So, no, it wasn't intentional. I just recorded my own voice as I always do and then some bg-vocals. If you want to, show me where you heard it in the song. Hi Hans, sometimes I don't have much to offer about the music but this did evoke some strong feelings. You certainly captured the perplexity and pain of the deterioration. Wasn't sure if the driver intended to drive into the ocean or simply be by that glorious expanse of nature that returns sanity to the mind. It's a good cliffhanger. Was it intentional?
