Its been several years since I've been back here. Started my Biab journey when it came on floppy disks.
PG & Team have really stepped up their game with this software.
Just spent several minutes listening to the User Showcase songs and they all sound fantastic! The advent of the RT's literally sound like studio musicians were hired to play on your songs.
Night and day difference in the overall quality of the music being shared on this forum. Back in the day, there were only a select few, with lots of midi/vst know how could produce a decent sounding song. Now, I haven't heard a song that disappoints.
You also had to know how to mix/master a song for it to sound studio quality.
Congrats to the Biab Family for producing amazing songs!
Off to listen to more music in User Showcase.

There is more music genre diversity and professional sounding music in this forum than there is on the radio today.

Hi Trax
I love listening to music from others that is left-of-centre compared to what I normally listen to or write. I agree this is why this forum sharing is so beneficial, and also why I benefit from using BIAB - I could never think outside of my own preferences, but BIAB styles force me to consider and be inspired by other options and add more colour when I am writing a song.

Oh, yeah. Floppy discs. Man, you're right about the progress of this program. Used to use it to give others the arrangement for songs. Every year the PGMusic folks come up with cool new additions, and now there is no limit. Writing songs with BiaB --there should be college courses dedicated to it. The music from the folks on this forum are pretty much the only music I listen to these days. Great diversity and a ton of talent.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
