That said, I don't think the result is too ghastly

Brian,
This piece has a really nice gentle flow. I didn't mind the piano at all. Your Takamine sounds great in the mix.
Enjoyed!

Brian, I enjoyed listening to this. You've really made the style shine. The bckgrd piano sounds fine to me. There was a cymbal accent at about 1.30 and at 2.10 (i don't' know what it's called technically), but it's very nice transitional element--I usually try to do this in MIDI. Thanks for posting, great work!

That accent seems to come standard with the Salsa/Bolero drum style: An even 8th modern Cuban Bolero style with a Salsa approach. Ideal tempo = 105 BPM 2 substyles: i - With standard conga pattern and bongo fills; timbal cymbal swells.Thank you for the feedback.

So well done, Brian. It had me swaying in the breeze. The piano is fine, and those guitars are perfect. Love the Latin style --and genre, and your brought a shine to this one.

Quite a nice song, Brian! Reminds me of Earl Klugh's lyrical nylon string mastery. Nuthin' wrong with the piano IMHO. Super composition/arrangement, and the mix has everything where it should be. Most importantly (for me), the song has both a theme and a narrative flow that make it enjoyable listening. Superb job!

Hi, Brian. Mellow, with a good handoff between instruments. Pleasant listen.

Beautiful! Took me flying to a land far, far away, where everything is beautiful and unspoilt. Did not notice any problems with the piano. Bravo!

Cool laidback Sunday-listening track. Really nice instrumentation, arrangement and production.

Brian,
A very enjoyable listen. Good arrangement and production. Nicely mixed. Nylon is sweet - well recorded! Good job on the keys.
A very good instrumental.

As others stated, the piano works just fine. This piece is quite nice. The nylon string guitar is expertly played.
