Excellent choice and a wonderful result, Carl. Brent seems to be the guy most of us go to for guitarist, but this is the best anyone has ever played WITH him. First of all I love (and appreciate) the quality of musicianship you bring to each of the instruments in the background. Man, we should all have RTs of you on all your instruments, but especially your guitar work. Always a treat, Carl.

Funny I was actually looking for some celtic backing and stumbled on this style - liked
Brent's improvised playing and thought it would be worth highlighting, so this little
piece came about after a few hours messing about - very glad you approved Marty,
thanks very much for taking a listen and for your very nice comments!!
With AI flooding into every aspect of life & music I suppose it's only a question of
time before anybody can sound exactly like anybody else they wish to emulate -
I like it 'real' myself!

I truly enjoyed this. It's similar to my mood these past days. You and Brent sound like the guitar version of Bacharach & David. BTW, Hal David and I are not related. He's a Jewish guy from New York, and I'm a Lutheran from St. Louis, Missouri. Also, his bank account has many more numbers before the decimal point than mine does. But I'd trade with him anyway!
You have such a nice touch on the strings. Your music sings itself - no vocals needed. This is gorgeous!

Great atmosphere in this instrumental. Love the improvised lead guitar. Thought the 2nd guitar was a little too loud in the mix, but otherwise a very excellent piece.

I liked his simpler bluesy feel & sound on this style, glad it sounded

Yes keep it simple & real I say - it's so easy to over-complicate things

Really nice. It made me think what it might've been like if SRV and his brother Jimmy did an acoustic 12-8 together. I've always been a big Jimmy Vaughan fan, and you have his laconic phrasing. A real treat.
