Hi Music Makers, I would like to share two things with you all. First, I recently released my first album of BIAB songs [insert party hat icon...if there was one]. It was a somewhat grueling process as I had previously made some choices that complicated the distribution. However, I went with CDBaby because someone mentioned the bang for the buck when releasing an album. If anyone has free time on their hands (in-between the ever renewing stream of forum songs to listen to), I would appreciate a youtube bump of likes and any comments you want to share. Ya know, no pressure. GO THERE NOW!  The album playlist is here. Second, I actually released the album 1st in September on something called Wavlake, which was a whole lot easier than CDBaby. It's a free decentralized music platform that distributes via open protocols and the Bitcoin network. The cool thing is, I've had more streams through Wavlake than I have had through Soundcloud...and with fewer songs. I like the ownership, transparency, censorship free and value for value philosophy though as of yet no one has "valued" my music. LOL I'm mentioning it in case anyone here wants to look into it (or another similar service called Fountain but that one costs). Anyhoo, that is all for now. Back to your regularly scheduled program.

AH, special, Beth. THis is terrific. I must listen to a few more here, then your album. Right now I have Awaken playing. Man, I love your music AND your attitude, Beth. Congrats on this. Tomorrow is granddaughter Charley's 11th birthday and my 14th BiaB album is released. I've used Distrokid, Sounccloud and CDBaby. CDBaby is the best. Hey, I knew Derrick back in '99 when he was just "thinking" of starting CDBaby. Great guy.

By the way, with the updated forum, you can now paste emojii icons and they'll show up. Just look them up somewhere like https://emojipedia.org, copy and paste, and Bob's your Uncle!

Hi Beth!
Congratulations on this milestone! It sounds like you’ve done a fair bit of research, and thanks for sharing that information with us. I’ve listened to quite a few of your songs, so this is going to be a real treat to get them in a concentrated burst. I normally listen to forum members songs while doing the vacuuming and I vacuum in time with the beat. It makes a tedious task so much more joyful, so if you see a spike in listens on Saturdays, you’ll know what is going on. In fact, I hope your views and listens are so plentiful that you don’t notice my contribution!

Beth, I listened to the complete album on youtube. It's great! My favorite song was the lead-off song, Awaken. There's an energy to that tune I really like. My second favorite was No. But they were all consistently good. Harmonies were world class. I really wished for a lyric sheet with each song. I am a big lyrics guy. Congratulations on a fine album.

I don't know you yet, but I'm an old timer on the forum who has been away for too long. I tracked you down after you so graciously listened and commented on my most recent song.
How wonderful that you have created a CD of songs from your BIAB projects! I'm so envious! You may have just inspired a copycat response... maybe even more than one!
Your voice is beautiful, and your harmonies are perfection! It must be a dream come true for a singer like you to have found a way to create your own backing tracks... you have done a great job with each of the songs in your collection. I wish you the best in this endeavor, and I hope you will keep us all informed of any developments in your musical career.
