Can this new GUI be used with dual monitors?

Without getting into all the specifics - absolutely you can move floating elements to a dual monitor setup.

Without getting into all the specifics - absolutely you can move floating elements to a dual monitor setup. Thanks DrDan. Will the settings be carried over to a new project?

Yes and no. The floating mixer does indeed remember to go on the second monitor when saved and opened, but the floating notation did not reappear (on either screen) when saved and opened. BIAB uses both "views" and "windows". I am guessing the mixer is a "window" but the notation is a "view".

Yes, the new GUI is much more modern (and better) than the old one, not only from an aesthetic standpoint (personally, this aspect doesn't matter to me at all), but specially, from a functional perspective: The interface elements are distributed in a much more logical and rational manner (everything is where most people expect it to be and works how most people expect it to work), and they can be arranged according to the user's preference. All of this results in a much more intuitive program and a much more satisfying user experience.
Of course, there is still room for improvement (lots of room, in fact), but this update is a great step in the right direction, so congratulations to PG Music and the person or people responsible for the new interface design.

Paul, what Dan said. And in theory it should remember position on second screen. They worked very hard to make this UI happen, I am quite optimistic they will add this to be in line with standard. I will not be surprised if they add this "view position save" in the next patch or two.
