For some reason I cannot upload pictures, but clicking on:
Options > BIAB Preferences > Display
or...
Options > BIAB Preferences > Colors
...will open the same windowsopens the same window: "Display and Chord Settings"
I'm unsure whether the 'Colors' button points to the incorrect dialog, or if it is merely a remnant of an earlier version that needs to be removed. Just tried, and it's the same with earliewr ersions.
Anyone can confirm?

Yes, I confirmed the pictures are identical - to the best of my knowledge this is as intended. There are actually other places using the buttons where this same page is linked. You know how PGM loves redundancy. No harm, no foul? In fact this page is differenct than 2025 it that it has been enhanced to allow more clarity in actually using the colors to customize the GUI.
I will run this by the developers to confirm my understanding. So other than redundancy do you see a problem?

I will run this by the developers to confirm my understanding. So other than redundancy do you see a problem? If they confirm this is intended (I'm not sure at all), then no, no problem at all, although in that case I would recommend to just remove that redundant button; the preferences window is already so overpopulated that maintaining a duplicated and unnecessary button there is hard to justify.

This is hilarious. I have used the program for 30 years and never ever touched the display button. I always use the colour button. I thought that the display button referred to the screen that was opened when you opened preferences and I have never gone back to that screen from another so I never tried it.

I believe they point to the same dialog and have always.
Preferences Display, Color, context menu in Chord view/Display options, all open the same dialog.
Studio One (latest version), Win 11 23H2 , i9 -10940X 3.3 GHz, 32GB Mem, a 4K 40" monitor, PreSonus Studio Live III Console as interface/controller. secondarily test on Reaper, Cakewalk, and S1 on Surface Pro 3 Win 10 (latest versions).
