It is indeed funny/interesting to hear how the vocals can make your instrumental song something completely different (I believe Laurent wrote that too).
You did a good job with this!

Thank you, Hans! Very much appreciated. I hadn't heard of Luv, so I watched some videos on YouTube and I see what you mean re the similarity in vocals, particularly in that song with the Scots bagpipes, though Luv are also very Abba-like.

Cool rocker Chay. Loved the chugging guitars. Excellent vocal and lyric. Guitar solo was excellent as well.

Chay,

I read your explanation before listening, and I was worried whether a gentle, nursery rhyme-like melody would work with rock music.
However, after actually listening to it, my worries were unfounded.
The gentle melody parts and the instrumental rock parts are wonderfully contrasted, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it.

Best regards.

Hi Chay.

Once again, you've taken me on an excellent musical adventure. I love what you have done. This rock version is very creative and highlights the versatility of your impressive arranging skills. This song is terrific listening from beginning to end.

Much appreciated, Scott! Fingers crossed there'll be more chugging and more songs with vocals to come. One already with Lucy.

Thank you, Shigeki! I also didn't think it would work when first converting the original song, "Venus Twinkles [Lady of Love]" but I was super-pleased when it did, plus Lucy singing this version in a higher voice really took the idea to a new level.

Thank you so much, Noel! It's the sampling, arranging and mixing I find most fulfilling after first being satisfied with a chord structure, but it doesn't always work as hoped and just recently I had to scrap an entire project I'd been working on for days!

This sounds great.
Nothing wrong with mixing different styles if it works and this does.

An amazing BiaB based rocker production.
Epic and stadium filling. Huge.
Good work with the vocals and thanks for the backstory.

We enjoyed it!

Thanks, Vic! Much appreciated. Mixing instruments from different styles is for me what BiaB is about.

Thanks J&B! Yep, I think it is the kind of music which would work well played by a band with a group of lady vocalists at an open air concert, ideally at night time. Ah, fantasy, fantasy … tired crazy tired sleep
