Hallo zusammen,
die von "Bubix" in "den Raum geworfene" Frage nach einem deutschen Forum für BiaB/RB - Nutzer
ist gar nicht so abwegig, tun sich doch im Zusammenspiel beider Programme immer wieder Fragen auf,
was das gemeinsame "Harmonieren" betrifft. Zwei Beispiele dazu:
1. Die in BiaB generierte Bassstimme erscheint in RB grundsätzlich eine Oktave tiefer, da sie in
BiaB mit "-1" abgespeichert wird. Ersetze ich den BiaB-Bass mit einem gesampelten Bass, erklingt
dieser in Subkontrabasslage, also klanglich völlig unbrauchbar. Mittels "Pitch" muss der Bass erst oktaviert
werden. Speichere ich aber die Bassstimme in BiaB mit "0" ab, erklingt er eine Oktave höher in
BiaB, wiederum unbrauchbar. Frage: wie bekomme ich es hin, dass der in BiaB abgespeicherte Bass
in RB in der gleichen Lage erscheint?
2. In Biab generierte Arrangements, bei dem RealDrums beispielsweise erst ab Takt 30 einsetzt,
all das fkt. in BiaB problemlos. Zur Weiterbearbeitung in RB geöffnet, fehlt aber die Realdrums-Audio-Spur komplett. Warum - wer weiß Abhilfe?
Ach ja, ich spreche übrigens von BiaB 2009.5 - vielleicht haben sich die Probleme ja in den
2010er Versionen behoben?!

Hallo Tserof Danke das es mal einen gibt, der die selbe Probleme hat wie ich! Aber nun mir ist es Aufgefallen auch unter 2009.5 das ich unter RB die Bassstimme in Kontakt, da ich NI Komplete 5 verwende, immer oktavieren muß. Eigentlich nicht schlimm ich hab es mit der NIoktavierung hinbekommen, ich kann mir nur Vorstellen, dass der Bass bei BiaB wie Du bemerktest auf -1 geht, kann ich mir nur damit Erklären, dass das Basso hier GREIFT! Denn das Basso (Stimmzungeninstrument) erklingt eine Oktave TIEFER als Notiert! Da BiaB warscheinlich den Weg via Audioerkennung dann die oktave auf -1 stellt ist mir auch nun Klar! Tja da aber im Subkontrabass nun keine REALKLINGENDE Töne erzeugt werden, erklingt dann natürlich auch kein Ton! Die Verständigung von BiaB und RB im Sektor Bass läst einiges zu wünschen ÜBER! Ich hatte auch schon mal Versucht den Splittpoint bei BiaB und RB gleich zu setzten, Erschreckende Ergebnisse! Da ich nun Vermute, dass RB eigentlich die Notenerkennung sowie MIDIerkennung von Audiotracks erzeugt, ist hier ein etwas Größerer Buck! Sollte aber nicht Vorkommen, denn wenn man zu Beginn definiert, dass das "c 0" der tiefste Ton ist, könnte man eigentlich nicht mehr nach unten hörbare Töne erhalten. Man sollte mal darüber infos sich einholen, welcher Ton eigentlich erklingt, wenn die Frequenz da dann 20 Hz ist! Dies ist so ich meine eigentlich der tiefste hörbare Ton des Gehörs, aber eigentlich hören die Meisten erst ab so 50 Herz was, bei Ohrenärzten beginnt meist ein Hörtest bei 140 - 150 Herz. Ja wenn dann unter RB ein Lied erarbeitet wird, dies dann in BiaB geöffnet wird ist der Bass tatsächlich eine Oktave höher als bei RB, kann das dann sein, das BiaB die MIDIdaten vom Bass nicht nach unten korigiert, kann eigentlich dann nur sein, das in diesem Sektor keine Gemeinsamkeit der Programme stattfindet, ergo haben unterschiedliche Programierer den Sektor unterschiedlich definiert! Bezüglich der RealDrums OK das da keine dann bei RB sind, so ich meist RealDrums später im Song beginnen lasse, so nutze ich unter RB die Tacktberreiche, um sie dann generieren zu lassen, hat Vortile bezüglich Percusion und Drums! einfach Tackbereich markieren und dann im Track xx einfach die Gewünschten Drums generieren lassen! Ich habe noch keine andere Möglichkeit gefunden. Bezüglich dem RB Forum ich hab mir da schon mal eines Versuchsweise eingerichtet, ist aber für mich noch sehr großes Neuland als Moterator und Administrator das Ganze zu Verwalten, ist zum Glück noch nicht Bekannt! Ergänzung zu vorherigen.
Unter BiaB ist doch oben die Klaviatur, diese ist doch wesentlich Länger als die 88 Tasten der MIDIinstrumente!
Kann es sein, dass da der Fehler liegt, da alle Instrumente darüber angesteuert werden und durch diese Vielfallt natürlich die Töne überlappend angesteuert werden hat man den Bass halt einfach eine Oktave nach unter gesetzt?
Wäre zumindest eine Erklärung, das in diesem Fall echte Probleme in der Komunikation nun stattfindet?
Ist auch im Notenschreibprogramm etwas Schwierig und Aufwendig, hatt es zu Beginn immer Selbst geändert, binn dann dazu übergegangen zwei Versionen eines Songs zu Speichern, die eine so wie Klingend die Andere mit Oktaviertem Bass!
Ersparnis an Zeit pro Song ca. 4 Stunden!
Wenn nun dieser Fehler beseitigt wird, hätte ich dann MIDItechnisch Doppeld so viel Platz ls nun auf der Platte!

Das Piano über der Werkzeugleiste ist keineswegs länger. Es hat den normen Oktavumfang, zeigt den aber 3 mal nebeneinander an. Es werden ja auf dem oberen (Solo, Melodi, Gitarre) und dem unteren (Bass, Piano, Streicher) Piano jeweils die gespielten Töne von drei Spuren parallel nebeneinander in unterschiedlichen Farben angezeigt.
Zum Bass: Übrigens spielte BIAB schon immer den Bass eine Oktave tiefer als notiert. Steht auch so im Handbuch und entspricht der gängingen Notationsnorm. Der Kontrabass, aber auch z.b. das Kontrafagott, werden in Partituren aus Gründen der Lesbarkeit immer eine Oktave höher notiert als sie klingen. Der Bass ist somit - wie auch z.B. eine Klarinette - ein transponierendes Instrument, das um 8 Ganztöne erhöht notiert wird. Die (B-)Klarinette erklingt dagegen nur 1 Ganzton tiefer als notiert (B statt C).
Hätte also BIAB eine Klarinettenspur, würde man das gleiche hier thematisierte Problem wie bei der Bassspur haben. Das gleiche gilt ja auch für die BIAB-Spuren, die andere transponiernede Instrumente^enthalten, wie etwa Blechbläser, für die man in BIAB ja auch Transpositionseinstellungen vornehmen kann (z.B. Es erklingt statt des notierten C usw.). Auch hier klingen die Spuren beim Export in andere Programme dann anders und müssen gepitcht werden.
Doof ist halt, dass Sequenzer und DAW sich nicht wie BIAB an diese Konventionen halten. Wäre natürlich schön gewesen, wenn wenigstens PGMusic beim eigenem DAW-Programm RealBand hier eine Anpassung vorgenommen hätte.

Hätte ich ja auch von selbst drauf kommen können, aber wenn das Programm FUNKTIONIERT,
schaut man halt nicht mehr im Handbuch nach!!!!!!
Ja die DAW´s hatten immer Probleme mit BiaB wegen der Tonlagen!
Bei RealBand hatte ich da noch keine, auser wenn ich via Kontackt 3 den MIDIBass abspielen wollte,
konte mir aber mit Hilfe der NIoktavierung da dann selbst Helfen!
Die Konventation von BiaB ist sehr Gut und auch musikalisch; könnte man es in dem DAW RB nicht einfach so
übernehmen wie in dem Sequenzer BiaB, da es noch zusätzlich von PG ist, hätte man es doch GLEICH
Richten können um allen Anderen zu zeigen, dass es doch FUNKTIONIERT?
Aber aus Respeckt würde ich nun sagen, dass im Sekment DAW nun mit RealBand nur ein Weiterer hinzukam,
der eigentlich nicht schelchter oder besser ist als all die Andern, was natürlich bezüglich der
Arbeitsweise bei DAW auch keine änderung zu den Andern Betrift!
Unter Steinberg hatte ich mit BiaB meist immer Probleme mit dem Bass, auch im Notenschreibprogramm!
Auch da half mir die Faulheit meinerseitz, da ich die Stimmen die ich umschreiben musste auf Tabulatur,
in dem Rubisoft Tokatta erledigte, um Zeit einzusparen habe ich nun die Bass und Schlagzeugnoten dann
aus BiaB Ausgedruckt, war Zeitsparender als nun diese auch noch via Tokatta zu bearbeiten!
Aber wäre doch auch eine Überlegung dies bei BiaB & Rb 2010,5 zu ändern oder?

BIAB müsste m.E. beim Export von transponierten Spuren einfach abfragen, ob die notierte oder die erklingende Tonhöhe exportiert werden soll. Da mit dem neuen drag&drop-Feature die Exportfunktion und das Zusammenspiel mit anderen DAWs ziemlich aufgewertet wurde, wäre das sicher hilfreich. RealBand könnte das zusätzlich auch beim Import aus BIAB abfragen.
Ein entsprechender Eintrag in die Wishlist von BIAB und RB im Hauptforum würde sich anbieten.

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums).
