After all the worry about my Mum and her XP, it turns out it has Service Pack3. I was able to actually look myself and check it out. What a relief! (and how idiotic do I feel) So even though it was a flap about nothing, I learned a thing or two along the way. Our box turned out to be mobile broadband, which can be transferred to Mum if she wants. We have now changed to ADSL2 with more uasage allowance (YIPEE!) so I might be able to listen on the Showcase now. I've been having a great time watching youtube tutorials without the constant stopping to load the next bit aggravation. Anyway, just wanted to let you know the outcome and thank you all for helping.  Yvonne
