Goede avond
Ik heb altijd uitstekend gewerkt met biab versie 11 met uitbreidingen.
Ik heb nu van biab versie 2008 met Ultrapak.
Maar:
- als ik een wav of iets dergelijks wil importeren, dan wordt het programma onmiddellijk afgesloten!
Mijn computer is helemaal nieuw met veel geheugen, zowel intern als grafisch, een heel snelle dualcore processor, sata schijven, enz. Windows XP Pro MCE.
- ik heb daarna biab 2008 geïnstalleerd op mijn laptop met veel minder vermogen en die importeert alles vlekkeloos. Windows XP pro sp2.
Maar ik wil niet op die laptop werken, maar op mijn snelle krachtige computer, daar is hij voor!
Enig idee hoe dit kan?

Hallo Karan, Probeer eens om het programma terug te zetten in de fabrieksstandaard waarden. Met het programma gesloten, ga naar de BB map op je harde schijf en verwijder dan de bestanden “intrface.bbw” en “mysetup.dk”. De volgende keer dat je BiaB start, worden die bestanden automatisch opnieuw gemaakt. En download de nieuwste update op de PG music website: http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm . helaas, beide bovenstaande adviezen 2x opgevolgd met geen enkel gewenst resultaat:
kan dus niet opslaan en importeren. Ook originele bestanden worden na bijvoorbeeld een toonsverhoging niet opgeslagen, maar meteen sluit het programma af.
Rn, zoals ik eerder al aangaf, op mijn laptop met WinXP werkt alles prima en op mijn krachtige PC met WinXP-MCE niet. MCE is eenXP-sp2 + enkele multimediazaken.
Nog ideeën?

Hallo Karan, Nog steeds geen reactie uit Canada. Stuur zelf eens een email naar support@pgmusic.comdat kan in het Engels maar ook in het Nederlands. Schrijf er even bij wat je precies voor computer hebt en wat je al geprobeerd hebt met Band-in-a-Box. Goei, Peter

Karan, In principe zou je je geld terug kunnen vragen als je tenminste via de website van PG Music hebt besteld. Maar het moet toch mogelijk zijn om BiaB aan de praat te krijgen op je nieuwe computer (nou ja, Windows XP klinkt niet echt nieuw...).
