OK, I'm using an old macbook pro running BIAB 2014. Have never recorded mid guitar and would like to. I just downloaded a trial version of some software that converts guitar audio into midi data. Problem is, how do I get that midi data recorded into BIAB?
I've looked at the usual settings in Prefs etc, but i just don't see the Midi Gtr midi otput anywhere. I'm using the internal audio and midi on the laptop, but because I've enabled "Virtual? midi on the guitar Midi program, I was really hoping it would work.
I must be missing something, right?

I would record the midi in Garageband and import the session into BIAB. In GBand you can edit. If you have a Mac you probably have GB on it.

I think you need to go to the melody tab - import melody
|

Thanks guys, turns out I had internal midi selected from BIAB prefs instead of "Core". Works now.
