UserTrack Stereo to Mono Problem after Regeneration
Message: Hi all,
I'm creating my first UserTrack in Band-in-a-Box 2024 and I noticed a problem. The original track is in stereo and it sounds fine in the preview, but when I replace it with a RealTrack and regenerate it, the format automatically changes to mono with only one waveform.
My UserTrack is only 4 chords containing a virtual guitar recorded in stereo with Cubase and I wonder if the problem could be because Band-in-a-Box needs to generate variations and can't do it in stereo.
I've checked some settings, but I can't find an option that forces stereo after regeneration. Has anyone else faced a similar problem or have any suggestions on what to check?

More information is necessary to help you.
First. If you replace your UserTrack with a RealTrack, BIAB will use the RealTrack, not your UserTrack. I assume BIAB will use the waveform format of the RealTrack, not the UserTrack.
Second. BIAB can't generate new material for your UserTrack regardless if it's recorded in Stereo or Mono.
Stereo to mono and and mono to stereo function is available in the Edit menu of the Audio Edit Window. I don't believe with the information known so far that waveform conversion is the root issue.
