The harmony of the vocal oohs and ahhs sound great. However, I noticed that most of the time, the transition is not smooth. That is, the harmony is supposed to continue and not get cut during chord or bar change. Are there some rules to follow to make the smooth transition happen?

Thanks w. I'll post a sample once I got a chance.
But I guess I might have used a wrong term. I used "smooth" but would probably be clearer if i use the term "continues". It's because when the music moves from one bar/chord to another, the oohs/aahs will have a very short pause instead of sustaining the oohs/aahs as it changes its key. This way, the vocals wouldn't sound like they are gasping for breath each chord/bar change.

I've noticed this also, Froi. It's been a while since I last tried it but I just now tried playing around with them again and I still can't figure out how to make the voices stop or continue smoothly through the chord changes. It seems to be rather random with its transitions. Sometimes they continue and sometimes they briefly stop. It would be nice to be able to choose staccato or legato options for any given bar, but it doesn't seem to be currently possible.

Thanks Guitarist! You got exactly what I mean. I agree on having a staccato and legato options. I hope PG can add that feature in the future.

This was a really bad problem with "piano" in the early stages of PG adding the instrument to RT's. It took a lot of versions to make the chord transitions completely smooth. I totally hear the rough transitions on voices - that is why I, and probably most people bury them in the mix - but that is what BGV's are meant for - we are not at the point where they can be solo'ed - I can take the oohs and ahhhh's into Logic ProX or ProTools and do fade in's on the start of the chord change too.
