I am starting to learn the new 2020 software by recreating cover songs from their chord structure. This way I will learn to use the plugin as well as parse through real tracks, soloists, etc.
Obviously, I can look up tablature/chords for songs online and hand enter them. Is there a more efficient way? I see there is an audio chord wizard, but I imagine that is not accessible in the plugin.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Simple answer for a simple question... the best way is still the original way BIAB was designed, you type them into the Chord Sheet.

You can do step entry with a MIDI keyboard (but you have to use the computer keyboard to advance to the next bar).

The best way is Dan's method, manual entry.
The easiest way is to open a midi file of the song. BIAB automatically analyzes the chords, key signature and tempo and populates the Chord Chart with the information. The entire midi file will be located on the Melody track.
The easiest way to find a suitable Style is from the StylePicker page, enter the song name into the Song Title Search box in the upper right hand corner of the page.
You can either mute or delete the midi track if you don't need any of the data or from the Midi Sequencer, use some of the midi data in your project.

If you just want cover songs you can search for the SGU/MGU on google, there was
750 BIAB songs for download - PG Music Forums - PG Music Inc. posted in the forum but it has since been deleted for some reason.

F.i. i have used Cubase PRO for that:
Import a Midi file, let Cubase analyze the chords, easier when you know the key already.
Also works best if there's a string section playing simple chords. Sometimes you need some manual correction.
Export the chords as Midi file, and usually that speeds up import procedures a lot when importing these midi files songs in to BIAB.
BIAB handles a 2 bar intro space usually, but you still might correct the importing offset there.
You might have to experiment with BIAB's quirky way of handling Verses, Choruses and middle-8 arranging.
BIAB calls the whole caboose Chorus, which can be confusing.
(BTW still have my spare Cubase Pro 10.5 license for sale BTW, comes without 21% VAT for buyers outside the EU).
