This seems to be a good forum to get advices, so I try again:
I've searched manual and tried all the options, but I haven't found a way to adjust the font size of bar based lyrics when I print to PDF. In Print Options font size (def.) = 24 the font size3 selcted only effects to the size of chord symbols, not the lyrics. In Notion Windows Options adjustments effect only for display, not for printing.
I also tried to select the printer for PDF's (options in Printer Setup from HP to Microsoft and Windows to PDF995) so that it would print all the pages with chords once, but changing the printer doesn't help: I have to repeat the procedure to get the rest of the pages printed with chords.
Is there a hidden button or check box again somewhere I haven't found or is it a bug I should report to PG?
I use Windows 10 updated and a BiB 2021 version updated (Build 825).
Try this: - go to Options > Preferences and click the "Display" button (even if it's highlighted) - this opens the "Display Options" window - towards the middle of the right-hand side, click on the down arrow of the box next to "Choose Font" - select "Bar Lyrics Layer" - now click on the "Choose Font" button - from the "Font" window, you can select the font, style and size you need, then select OK - if you want to change the color of the font, click on the down arrow beside "Window Background" in the "Display Options" window (top left-hand corner) - scroll down and select "Bar based lyrics - text", then choose the color you need
Let us know if that does or doesn't work for you. Someone here can likely step you through the process you need.
Hi. It seems that the only way to adjust the font size of the bar based lyrics in printing PDF, is in Print Options: font size (def.) = 24. It effects both to the chord letters and the lyrics so it takes a lot of pages to print a song, because trying to compress them to just like two pages the chords and lyrics go over each other. It can be adjusted how far away from the ledger the lyrics are "Lyrics Below By", but not the chord symbols. Or has someone found other solution?
Go to the link below. It explains how to increase font size. The second option is the one you are after because that also affects the size of the font on the printout.
Also, in relation to a recent post of yours, the reason that "Copy from... to..." might not have copied lyrics for you is because it is for note-based lyrics and not bar-based lyrics.
Here's what I have in my "BIAB Tips and Tricks" file on copying bar based lyrics:
INSTRUCTIONS: - Highlight the bars in the chord grid for where the "source" lyrics are located - Right click INSIDE the lyrics layer of any selected bar (don't highlight the lyrics layer) - Choose "Copy selected bars" from the dropdown - Left click the chord grid area for the start of the "destination" for the lyrics NOTE: make sure there are NO existing lyrics for that bar - Now (don't highlight the lyrics layer) right click INSIDE the lyrics layer where the lyrics are to start and select "Paste"

If that is true, that bar based lyrics can't be copied, it is a pity and should be fixed.

I'm not sure what stopped the process working for you. When I followed steps 4, 5, 6, 7 at the link I gave in the above post, the below images show what I obtained. (I set the font size to 24.)
Top image = Chordsheet view of bar-based lyrics.
Middle image = Leadsheet view of bar-based lyrics.
Bottom image = section of pdf printout of bar-based lyrics.
