I would like to compile a list of songs that BIAB will then play. Preferably with adjustable gap in between or I can press the foot pedal (build and play) to start the next song.
Perhaps there is a tutorial somewhere for this?

If that is not possible, then how does everyone use BIAB for live performing? I mean in a band environment where songs get performed one after the other.

I don’t use BIAB per se. I export the tracks, pull them into a DAW (usually Reaper in my case) then arrange, mix and “master” the tracks. I then export all tracks at about the same loudness (-14 LUFS). Once I’m happy I put the song (backing track) into my “live” folder. I use a program called Songbook where I add the lyrics and a pointer to the backing track file. I simply start the song with the backing and away I go.
In Songbook I have the option of a list of all my songs or I could list out a set in running order. I also keep a few other lists in case I need them in a hurry. For example, Australiana, Rock and Roll, Waltzes.
I plug my guitar into the same audio interface that is used by the PC and an Amp Sim with the various “stomp boxes” controlled by a midi foot controller. It is all pre balanced ready to go.
I have control over what is played when I want it played. All very simple.

You have the Jukebox that you can choose a folder with the songs with the play order number in front of the file name. The Next & Previous don't have a HotKey so you could use AutoHotkey.com to create ones and have you foot pedal trigger them and the spacebar for play/stop. If you are interested let me know and I will give more details. Else just render the songs to mp3 or video if you want the chord sheet.
