I've been regretting updating to 2022: haven't found anything new usefull, but lost an essential feature: printing music sheet with bar based lyrics and notes doesn't work anymore. I have reported to PG and they have replied, that if it doesn't work "you won't want to use the "Print to PDF button"." How do they know what I want to use. And I do want to use that feature that worked in last edition. I think they should fix the bugs.

It looks like your problem is an easy one to resolve. I would forget that "Print to PDF" option (which is kind of an outdated option which doesn't make much sense nowadays, anyway) and try with different virtual printers, starting with the "print to pdf" feature built in windows 10

IMHO the 2022 update has been one of the most feature packed updates for my uses. I’m only sad that I’m still not quite healthy enough to really enjoy it but that will come.
I’ve found there are usually work arounds for extras one needs. The 2022 version has done away with a few issues requiring complex solutions. The MicroChord feature is an example of this. Also being able to remix drums does away with rather complicated ways to manipulate drums. There are several other features I’ve not had time or energy to look at yet. (There’s always tomorrow).
Yep the 2022 update is well worth it IMHO.

Perhaps the OP's view of what constitutes "useful" differs from others' views.
YMMV.
