I only have 11 GB left. Can I just copy the whole thing over to a new drive disc? I know I shall change everything to the new drive letter, so it can be found, TIA Stratos
Or you could do what I did: copy just the two folders that take the most space: /RealTracks and /Drums.
Then go into Preferences for each and choose the new locations. Once you’ve tested successfully, you could delete those two folders from your existing full drive.

That is also the way I have my system set up, i.e. BiaB & RB on my C:/ drive and the RealTracks and Drums on another drive.
Doc-take it easy John this is just a sharp scalpel. It will not cut deep so don't worry. Me-I'm not John Doc-I know, I am!

You would first need to copy the contents of the current RealTracks and Drums folders to the folders of the same names in the new drive location. (e.g. copy the contents of C:\bb\RealTracks to F:\bb\RealTracks and C:\bb\Drums to F:\bb\Drums). Once you have done this, you can reference this video tutorial which covers how to get those newly created folders associated with your Band-in-a-Box installation.
Jerry, this nicely short video is good because it shows the step-by-step menu commands for what we mentioned above. But I have to ask, could someone watching this think that the actions in the video will actually transfer the RealTracks or RealDrums to that new location? That this is all you need to do?
In other words, might it be a good idea to preface the steps in the video with a statement that this video assumes you already copied your RealTracks/RealDrums to those other locations?
Or am I wrong and only the steps in the video will copy all those files? And if so, which I don't believe is true, will it then delete the files from the source location (making this a MOVE command)?
However - I do see a possible simple utility application being written for this that could be part of the File, File Utilities menu. Specify the source and target folders, and the utility would make the transfer and update the BIAB location settings as in the video.

Thank you for pointing that out Matt. You would first need to transfer the files to another RealTracks or Drums folder first, then follow the steps in the video I posted to get them associated in Band-in-a-Box. I will edit my post to reflect this.
