Just some improvisation on harmonica and guitar. I used the jazfred Real Style and played a cheap strat on the guitar solo. The harmonica is a Hohner CX-12.

Pleasant song, nice playing - both on the harmonica and the guitar.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Reminded me of the musical interludes in the Goon Show on the BBC radio.
There's some sort of distortion happening from 0.33 until 0.45 or so.
You've blended "real" & RealTrack very well.
Congrats.

Cheers

Hi Bob,

Nice track, I love this kind of groove. Good playing from both you and the BIAB guitar guy.

I hear the distortion Ray is talking about, sounds to me like clipping happening on the harp track, maybe it was recorded a little too hot.

Lots of potential, I think.

Bob,
Very enjoyable interplay between your harp and the guitar; you both sound like you`re in a relaxed, fun groove.

Nice listen Bob. Harp and guitar were excellent tracks. I heard a bit of the crackling as well. I get that from my guitars when it is dry in the house. I can rub parts of the pick guard on my Les Paul and get a bit of static build up. You could probably pull that out with Izotope RX9 as it is at a very specific frequency.

Even though it's not my preferred genre, I really like your track, you did a great job with the harmonica and guitar.

As others have said, there is some awkward clipping on the harmonica track.

Hi Bob,

I really enjoyed your song - good chord progression.

In particular I really enjoyed your Chromatic harp playing and your guitar work.

Wonderful - keep it up.

Best Regards
Nigel

They say harmonica is supposed to be one of the easiest instruments to learn.... Yeah well not for me. But it sounds like you learned it pretty well.

Ditto on the clipping. Nice tone on the live instruments.

Very good melody and some great musicianship going on there! My wife bought me some harmonicas a few years ago. I just stated learning them, when I got sick and lost a lung - so there went my harmonica playing. I'm jealous, you sound like I wanted to. This was a fun one to listen to. I wish it was longer!

Super job on both instruments

You should improvise more often

This was a very good mix and an excellent listen

A bit of a gypsy jazz vibe ... a good thing for us!

Janice said she felt like she was sitting in a Parisienne cafe, wearing a beret and thoroughly enjoying the band. smile

This sounds great!

Excellent performances on the harp and guitar.

More please!

Bob,
Relaxing impro. Fun harmonica & playing. Smooth. Enjoyed it!
If possible, try to get rid of the mentioned distortion. Thank you for sharing.

Great playing on the harmonica and guitar. I often tried to play a Neil Young or Bob Dylan song on the harmonica but I could never get the hang of it!
