BIABguy,

If you named your rendered tracks the same as your BIAB file (e.g. file.mgu plus file.wav) then the file.wav is always going to get played as the audio track. I have gotten burned by that myself in the past... You make some changes (or try to mute parts) and you find that you have "extra" parts :-)

Thanks very much Dave for this. I didn't know previously, that .wav files with the same name as the BIAB song file would play together. This explains what happened when I had a doubling of the bass and drum part.
Many things were happening there. One bass and drum part was "midi sounding". This was actually the .wav file.
The other bass and drum parts were Real Tracks. So when I muted the 'audio' I was effectively taking out the 'midi' parts. Weird to the max!
Lord only knows how I ended up having the midi parts saved as a .wav file!

As for drums being lower volume, I have found that I have to use the adjustment in the settings dialog for realdrums to bump them by a couple of dB to make them equal to the other tracks, or I have to boost them in audacity to use them in other projects.

In my case the drums were lower in volume because I was doing the rendering with my logitech camera turned on!
Again, lord only knows why BIAB would use the mic from my camera as input, while I was doing a rendering of a BIAB song!
