Saludos a todos, me uno a vosotros en este foro, quiero comunicaros que yo también soy uno de los que está enamorado del programa de Band in a Box.
quisiera preguntar a Carlos y a quien lo pueda saber, si con el programa BAND IN A BOX, podemos con estos arreglos del BAND IN A BOX poder editar discos de nuestras composiciones, sin problema alguno por haber creado en este programa con estos acompañamientos y poder hacerlo sin problemas legales.

El único material con derechos de autor en Band-in-a-Box son las canciones de demostración. Cualquier otra cosa que crear en el programa que posee los derechos.
The only copyrighted material in Band-in-a-Box are the demo songs. Anything else you create in the program you own the rights to.

Hola, gusto en saludarte, bienvenido al foro. Gracias por tus palabras en el mensaje privado el cual responderé a la brevedad posible con las respuestas a tus interrogantes e inquietudes.
Efectivamente fuiste bien informado, yo estuve ahondando ayer y hoy en el asunto para ampliar un poco más antes de responderte. Los RealTracks y los RealDrums son grabaciones de músicos reales, construidos a base de ejecuciones de ritmos, frases, acompañamientos, líneas solistas e incluso "pads" o "colchones" de base y apoyo como las nuevas secciones de sintetizadores y voces de fondo agregadas recientemente en los RealTracks, y en su mayoría interpretadas por profesionales de amplia trayectoria y experiencia, incluso algunos de ellos de fama mundial, como Jeff Lorber y Eric Marienthal, por mencionar algunos. Y es gratamente sorprendente saber que podemos utilizar sus interpretaciones musicales por medio de los RealTRacks totalmente libre de obligaciones de pagos de royalties o regalías y derechos intelectuales, aún a sabiendas de que se trata de improvisaciones y líneas solistas, y no de melodías propiamente dichas. Hoy día, algunas empresas y desarrolladores de librerias de muestras, "loops" e incluso, instrumentos virtuales, están protegiendo sus productos con estrictas, y a veces, desalentadoras condiciones. En nuestro caso, la única condición por supuesto, es poseer la licencia autorizada de nuestros programas, por medio de su adquisición o compra, para convertirnos en usarios legales del mismo. Algo por demás lógico.
Por supuesto, en PGMusic aceptamos con orgullo y satisfacción, además de ser muy alentador, cualquier mención que nuestros usuarios quieran, por voluntad propia, hacer en sus producciones, realizadas completamente o parcialmente con la ayuda de Band-in-a-Box, RealTRacks, RealDrums, RealBand, etc. Después de todo es una labor enorme de equipo, que conlleva miles de horas y de trabajo intelectual creativo.
Aún como miembro de este gran equipo que es PGMusic, no ha dejado de sorprenderme la elasticidad de sus políticas de derechos y protección intelectual. No significa que no existan, pero la gran mayoría estan enfocadas mas que todo hacia el lado de la protección intelectual del código, programación, marcas registradas y los detalles pertinentes a imágen, logos y todo el asunto corporativo . Si tienes la oportunidad de chequear por ejemplo, la inmensa librería de ejemplos y demos de estilos MIDI, podrás observar que, aparte de las melodías, las progresiones de acordes son un excelente campo de prueba y punto de partida para las ideas del usuario, sobre todo cuando ya es del dominio público que una progresión de acordes puede ser usada libremente y sin obligaciones de pagos de derechos, con alguna excepciones. Por supuesto están allí las consideraciones lógicas inherentes al nivel de creatividad y al mismo tiempo, sentido común, del compositor, arreglista o canta-autor. Es decir, sería poco original o profesional, tomar por completo la secuencia armónica original, por ejemplo, de Yesterday, de los Beatles, montarle otra melodía diferente, y pretender trascender con ello en la historia de la música (lamentablemente sin embargo, no es algo poco común en las áridas listas de éxitos actuales).

Amigo Carlos, muchas gracias por tu calidez humana y tan clara respuesta, como bien dices es realmente excepcional y ejemplar esta oportunidad que PG Music nos regala y ofrece mas allá de ser una empresa que establece un comercio con un maravilloso programa, pues la libertad de poder editar discos o cualquier otra creación sonora en cualquier medio (TV, cine, radio, discos…) permitiendo que estos arreglos ayuden a que las creaciones de los compositores puedan presentarse con unos arreglos libres de copyright, nos ofrece una posibilidad profesional que sin los medios económicos ni sin los contactos oportunos jamás tendríamos la oportunidad de presentar nuestras composiciones con esta calidad sonora, es realmente como te digo mas que un regalo, una oportunidad única lo que supone el Band in a Box.
Me queda claro pues, que podemos libremente editar discos con nuestras composiciones utilizando los acompañamientos con los realtracks del Band in a Box, salvo las demos.

Hay algunas preguntas que siempre me han causado un interrogante y que te agradecería me pudieras responder…
a) por qué PG Music nunca pone clave, key, registro… en las instalaciones de sus programas, siendo así posible el que cualquiera con un programa pueda hacer copias en cualquier ordenador sea el suyo o el de otros?....
b) y si no tiene key, registro ni clave… ¿Cómo uno confirma que el programa es el original?...
c) ¿es la factura de compra lo que nos confirma que el programa tiene una legalidad para el que lo ha comprado, lo cual le permite utilizar los acompañamientos para sus proyectos profesionales, poder actualizar el programa y tener un servicio técnico?
d) ¿es legal poder dejar hacer una copia del programa a un amigo para que lo pruebe y conozca hasta que el se quiera comprar uno directamente? o en el caso de que no se pueda... ¿hay manera de acceder al programa a manera de prueba durante unos días?...
e) en el caso de que se pueda hacer una copia a alguien, ¿hay algún número de registro o algo dentro del programa que vincule el programa a quien lo ha comprado?
Es que la libertad en como se presenta el programa desde siempre, dentro del ambiente de músicos profesionales, siempre lo hemos interpretado, como que PG Music, no le dedica tiempo a bloquear el programa sino a evolucionar con la ingeniería y la creatividad, a crear una calidad de programa musical que sea tan bueno y tan económico que no sea ni siquiera interesante el copiarlo de manera ilegal y que a todos nos interese colaborar, participar y ser fieles en mantenernos de manera regular en las actualizaciones… ya me dirás tu parecer al respecto.
Sobre lo que dices de informar en las ediciones y proyectos en los que se presenten creaciones y composiciones donde se hayan creado unidas al Band in a Box, no solamente creo que es lo mas justo, sino que con ello, damos la oportunidad a que todos seamos ejemplos sinceros de lo que vivimos y al informar del Band in a Box, estamos posibilitando que toda la felicidad que estamos nosotros viviendo, otros puedan también conocer este milagro musical, donde de igual manera que a nosotros, también los demás puedan vivirlo libremente.

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass.
