To make a chord come in on the "and" of a beat, you have to do what BIAB calls a push. If you put a caret (^) in front of a chord, the chord will play an eighth note earlier. If you put two carets (^^) in front of a chord, it plays a sixteenth note earlier.

Unfortunately, you can't play a push and then play another chord on the beat following the push.

Remember, in BIAB, you use a comma in a cell for beats 2 and 4. So if you entered:

| C, F | C, G | you would get a C on beat one, an F on beat 2, a C on beat 3, and a G on beat 4.

However, if you entered:

| C, F | C, ^G | you would get a C on beat one, an F on beat 2, a C on beat 3, and a G on beat 3 1/2 to continue through beat 4 of the measure.

Hope that made sense.
