Sure.

This is a case of a very basic notation printing setup.

I go into editable notation mode and enter notes by right clicking on the desired dotted grid line.
When needed, I check the "rest" box and enter the desired rest.

Okay, This where it gets interesting.

If I enter a "forced" rest (without checking the rest box) by entering a note on the second beat (fith grid line), or any beat "after" the frist graid line of a beat, the rest that appears is in "Black". But if I enter a rest by checking the "rest" box the rest is entered in "Blue".

When printing, these "Blue" rest do not print at all.

I'm beginning to think it might be a setting with my printer, Huh?
