Hi Carkins,

To render a MIDI track to WAV it's necessary to use a VST/DXi software synthesizer. This is why the Coyote Forte pops up. It's possible to use Coyote Wavetable to do this, too. MS Wavetable will not render to WAV.

Alternatively, you can set you computer's soundcard to "record what it hears" (this has different names for different sound cards). What happens here is that the computer literally records what is going through the sound card. So, set the record properties (or recording devices) by right-clicking on the speaker icon next to the clock (lower right of computer screen), set a RB track to record, and off you go. The track will record exactly what's being played.

I always use the soft synth approach as it's much easier.
