On Saturday my daughter went into labour and at 9.38am in the Aberdeen maternity hospital Catriona Cameron was born weighing in at a healthy 9lb.
Sadly in December it was diagnosed that she had spinabifida, and a close eye has been kept on things ever since. On Saturday morning she had an operation
to close the gap in her spine. It went very well, and she is now out of the incubator and feeding well. We're not sure what problems lie ahead for the wee one
and we're all praying that nothing too serious is wrong, although it could be that she'll be paralysed in her legs.
