I've previously had problems exchanging files with a colleague who has the same version of BIAB and the same selection of RealTracks as I have - it seems neither of us can rely on being able to use files the other has put together without unfreezing and re-generating. This usually shows up as a file which works on my computer playing as drums and MIDI only on his, and vice versa. I'm not sure if this is so much due to "corruption" as to incompatibility of the files created on one PC with another.

As I said in #368999, I think the displaced chords problem lies in the (implementation of the) algorithm used to determine the position of the chords on a leadsheet, which doesn't work correctly when the end-repeat mark doesn't come at the end of a line. Without knowing what's goes on within the black box of BIAB, we can end up like the medieval physicians who recommended bleeding for a bewildering variety of ailments - ascribing survival to the treatment and death to some methodological failure.

The folks at PG Music know what's in the black box, and now that the error has been drawn to their attention they can surely home in on it quickly.
