As a result of a post from a newcomer, I was wondering about regenerating a song.

Would be possible to add a setting to save all parts of a MIDI song and then load it back without regenerating? This would require a little larger file, to save all the MIDI information for each track, but MIDI is relatively small. This setting could be global and be located on the Environment box under the Options menu. It could be a checkbox to "Save / Load all MIDI info". Those who wanted to use this function could choose to save and load larger files. A sub-option, if this were turned on, could be a checkbox to "Always regenerate upon load/play". With the right combination of these two checkboxes, BIAB becomes a sequencer where you can edit and save any MIDI track.

I realize one may simply take a BIAB song into Real Band or Power Tracks to do this. However, think about all the questions from new users, when they are surprised they cannot edit the tracks besides Melody and Soloist, and have those edits 'stick'. Although I also take my song into a sequencer, this feature would allow me to stay in BIAB a lot longer.
