Hola a todos,
Siguiendo con el tema de las armonías, me pregunto si es posible crear progresiones de acordes diferentes para las pistas de una canción, por ejemplo, el piano podría ir haciendo armonías básicas como C, Bm7, Am7, G7sus mientras la guitarra toca tensiones en formas de tríadas básicas sobre esos acordes y a su vez el bajo notas alternativas como base interesante dentro del contexto. ¿De que manera podría lograrse eso con Band in a Box sin necesidad de editarlo en un programa externo?

Hola Vanguard, Efectivamente, este tema de la armonía es muy interesante, y Band-in-a-Box, utilizado con cierta dosis de astucia e ingenio, puede redundar en resultados igualmente interesantes y útiles para ciertos propósitos. Por ejemplo en tu caso, existe una característica del programa, que se utiliza para preservar la última regeneración de acordes que se haya realizado aún cuando reproduzcamos nuevamente desde cero la canción, lo cual obligaría a re-generar los acordes de la canción. Esta función es llamada "CONGELAR" y la encontraremos por su ícono respectivo o en el menú TOCAR con sus tres variables posibles. Lo voy a explicar ahora por medio de un ejemplo y de la manera mas sencilla posible. Tomemos una progresión de acordes similar a la que tu mismo propones de ejemplo, CMaj-Bm7-Am7-G , copiemos la misma en la hoja de acordes del programa y también tomemos nota aparte de dichos acordes en un note pad o incluso haciéndo una captura de pantalla de dicha progresión original. Ahora escojemos un estilo, que contenga por ejemplo un piano y una guitarra (preferiblmente limpia y arpegiada), además de la batería y el bajo. Reproduzcamos (play) para generar la canción con dichos acordes, obtendremos entonces una canción donde todos los instrumentos armónicos y melódicos estarán rigiéndose por LA MISMA progresión de acordes. Ahora viene la magia, por medio de la función CONGELAR, seleccionemos y "congelemos" todas las pistas MENOS la guitarra, y escriberemos a continuación en la hoja de acordes una progresión conformada por armonías o acordes que produzcan cierto grado de tensiones o triadas que contengan notas que coloreen por encima la armonía de la progresión original, en este caso mantenida por el piano y la guitarra. El ejemplo nos quedaría mas o menos asi : PIANO y BAJO ------------------ CMaj \Bm7\Am7 \G ----------------------------------------------------------- GUITARRA Armonia superpuesta Am9, Em7 \F#m\Fmaj7\A F,Am9 En la imagen que incluyo aqui - Armonia_superpuesta podrá observarse con mas claridad ambas progresiones, la original y abajo la armonía superpuesta.  Es de acotar que por supuesto aqui cabe de manera casi inevitable la experimentación, ya que los diferentes estilos y sus correspondientes instrumentos nos ofrecerán una paleta de variaciones intrínsecas a cada uno; una guitarra de reggae por ejemplo interactuará armónicamente con otro instrumento de diferente manera que una de balada Pop. Por otro lado también podemos aplicar la "descongelación" a otros instrumentos, por ejemplo el bajo para forzarlo a tocar "otras cosas" por encima de la progresión original. Como he mencionado, la experimentación y cuidadosa audición de cada instrumento y su interacción con otros es vital. Buena suerte y cuéntanos por favor de tus experiencias en este campo.
