Hallo, war selbst im Kurzurlaub.
Vorab: Klar kann BiaB in Spezialfällen auch Bigband-Profis was bringen. Aber weder sind die Möglichkeiten der Notenbearbeitung professionell, noch reicht die Zahl der intern bearbeitbaren Spuren für vollwertige Arrangements aus.
Zur Bearbeitungsfalle der Begleitspuren: Die generierten Spuren kann man ja auch nach dem Export mit einem Notenprogramm bearbeiten. Insofern wäre es sicherer, die Bearbeitung zu sperren, damit die Arbeit nicht durch einen versehentlichen START verloren geht.
Zu Alleinunterhalter und virtuelle Band: Sicher ist die Grundidee von BiaB eher, eine Begleitband zu ersetzen als ein Notenprogramm. Dennoch sehe ich nicht, dass es irgend jemand schaden würde, wenn man die Generatoren wahlweise auch abschalten könnte.
Ich bin Bassist. Der Live-Einsatz von BiaB war für mich nie ein Thema, aber das Schreiben von Bläserstimmen und einer grundsätzlich neuen Bassstimme schon. Leider ist da bei zwei Stimmen innerhalb BiaB Schluss. Realband ist weder ein vollwertiges BiaB (zumindes nach meinem ersten Eindruck, aber vielleicht ist ja das die zukünftige Entwicklungsrichtung), noch ein vollwertiges Notenprogramm (wie ja auch BiaB nicht).
Wenn ich also schon exportieren und mit einer anderen Oberfläche weiter arbeiten muss, dann lieber mit einem vollwertigen Notenprogramm, zumal ich einen Sequenzer gar nicht brauche, sonderen sowieso alles über den PC eingebe.
Dann geht aber der Ärger richtig los: Umgewöhnung an ein neues Notenprogramm. Änderungen, die im jeweils anderen Programm nicht nachvollzogen werden und zusätzlicher Verwaltungsaufwand. Brauche ich eine neu generierte drums- oder piano-Spur wegen Änderungen im Notenprogramm, dann doch wieder zurück nach BiaB, dort de Änderungen Nachvollziehen und Export/Import ins Notenprogramm.
Also Verlust des ganzen gewohnten Komforts einer einzigen Oberfläche, nur weil die Option: 'Generator für Spur x sperren' nicht der heiligen Grundidee von BiaB entspricht? Das finde ich schade. Auch das Prinzip: Was ich nicht brauche, soll auch keinem anderen nützen, selbst wenn es mir nicht schadet. Aber - wir haben das ja eh nicht zu entscheiden, allenfalls ein Vorschlagsrecht. Und selbst das scheinen wir uns als User noch nehmen zu wollen ...
