Band-in-a-Box styles are apparently hardwired at the most fundamental level as 3/4 and 4/4, however there are styles with a 6/8 and other time signature's feel. However, entering chords and notation can demand translating note-values in a very non-intuitive way to utilize these styles.

It would be very nice to call up a template that would do the time-translation for one. While one is transcribing into a 3/4 or 4/4 measure, it would LOOK like one was entering into 6/8 or whatever. Notation would be as simple and straight forward as entering in 3/4 and 4/4. Computers are particularly good at doing this sort of thing, while it does tax the mind of the user.

It would also need to take care of push chords. Now if one is using a 3/4 measure for 6/8, commonly a mid-measure chord change comes on the fourth beat. This necessitates a "push" [C ^G7] - not a feature that seems to be common knowledge among users. A translator template could be designed to do this automatically. It would also be extremely handy if a similar translation template could be applied to the Leadsheet Window.
