Welcome to the forum. What app are you using on the ipad to playback your files? What type (SGU, MID, etc.) of files are you playing?
Also, you may want to repost the question in the Band-in-a-Box for Mac part of the forum. There are some differences between Biab for Windows and Biab for Mac programs. That could affect the answer.
