Hi Michael,

I've just had a look around in BIAB and I can't see that there is too much control over section letters.

A couple of thoughts that occurred to me were ...

1. Try bringing the chord's vertical position down. If you're in Leadsheet mode, click on "Opt" to enter Leadsheet Options (#1). Now click on "Notation Options (#2) and then set the "Chord Vertical Position" to a smaller value, say 2 or 3 (#3)

2. Another option would be to use "Section Text" rather than Section Letters.

a) Enter editable notation mode by following #1 and then #2 on the below image.

b) Right click above the staff (red X) and then select "Insert Section Text" (#2).

c) In the Section Text dialogue box, it's possible to set text position (#1); locate it at a specific bar (#2), beat (#3) and tick (#4); use regular text or boxed text (#5). Whatever text is required is typed in the box marked #6.

Section text has a huge range of vertical positions (you'll just need to move the vertical scroll bar to see all the possibilities.)

When I created a couple of letters with boxed text, here is how they looked.

Hope this helps,
Noel
