Hi Victoria,
It sounds like you might be double-clicking on the style to me also. Doing this used to load the style and return the user to the chord sheet. That doesn't happen these days. When you double-click it will now play the demo for the style.
As Matt said, try a single-click on the style and then "OK" to exit back to the chord sheet.
