Educate yourself thoroughly before spending a dime. (You did good by asking here first.) What will you do with your interface now? Record your voice and guitar? What might you want to do with it later? Record a band in 16 channels? The more you know about yourself and how you work, the better the selection you will make. It will save you time, money, and aggravation/remorse in the future.

The TASCAM US-122 is a popular choice here. The new TASCAM US-144 adds S/PDIF to its audio/MIDI I/O capability. The 122 goes for $129 at Musician's Friend, the 144 for $149.
