I have requested endings more than once, not because I can't write endings, but RealTracks often just end like turning off a light. They even don't end simultaneously. (I don't count that maybe a piano bass string rings longer than an accoustic guitar chord.) Sometimes even with midi the ton is just cut off.
I agree, some of the existing endings are really sloppy. This seems to be affected by the deviations to the chord that's used at the end of the song (C, C7, Csus, Cdim etc), but certainly some endings can have different instruments ending on different beats, different bars, holding on too long, single instrument playing on, etc.
