Someone here compared something of mine to the Cars, that had never occurred to me. This song definitely has Cars influence, it just seemed appropriate both in the synth track and the vocal. This was originally written for a friend who had a rockabilly band, as a funny, kickass live number. I think it translates well with a Cars/ZZ Top feel. The BIB tracks are augmented with a slide guitar from RB and synth overdub.
