Ever since that first 'Horn Section' came out, I''ve been hoping & waiting for something of that sort for the swing genre too, but so far no joy - So (you know the drill by now, heh) I made one! smile
This is just something very basic, fits very well with those new genres like rock-a-billy and jive, but also with old jazz, boogie...well, any type of upbeat swing, really. From the Memo:

"A section of tenor and alto saxes playing a simple, steady, swing pattern throughout. Fit for a variety of swing based songs, though probably best suited for jazz styles. Tempo range 140-190"

Now, this is primarily for the eyes & ears of PG staff, to give an idea what something like this might sound if made 'for real' and encourage them to go for it. But if others find this set decent as it is, all the better cool

Give the full band audio demo a listen HERE
And one of just rhythm tracks without a soloist HERE
And for the free set, go HERE!

PS. No loops were used to create this set! The sounds are from emulators (courtesy of Myriad's most excellent sound sets), using several sax sounds and multitrack playing. Still, as it's not actually "the real deal", this one will remain a free Easter Treat for all - Enjoy smile

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
