´Tach auch!
BiaB 2014 auf Harddisk, registriert, komplette Kopie auf Systemplatte, Win7.
Benutze BiaB seit Jahren immer mal wieder.
Bin fasziniert von den Real Tracks; aber:
Bin immer wieder unendlich müde vom Durchsuchen der Hilfe, finde dort nach wie vor keinerlei Problembeschreibung/-lösung.
Habe jetzt auch noch Programmaufhänger bei jeglichem Versuch, irgendetwas abzuspeichern (z.B. Songs und Waves).
So ist das Programm für mich völlig wertlos.
Wer kann helfen?
Ergänzung:
Schon der voreingestellte Speicherordner "bb" lässt sich nicht ändern. Bei jedem Versuch --> Absturz.

Servus und herzlich willkommen im Forum.
Schwierig.
1. Wo ist das Programm installiert?
in Programme
oder in C:/bb
2. Wurde BIAB schon auf Werkseinstellungen zurück gesetzt?
3. Hat der Computer einen viralen Infekt?
4. Zeigen andere Programme auch Auffälligkeiten?

Hallo, Reisender!
Erst mal vielen Dank fürs Interesse und die Rückfrage!
zu 1)
Habe neuen Ordner "BiaB" auf "C" eingerichtet, nix unter "bb" oder "Programme"(Funzte meines Erinnerns bei früheren Versionen von BiaB problemlos).
Der Ordner "bb" ist nun eben als Unterordner in "BiaB" zu finden.
zu 2)
Habe jetzt zurückgesetzt.
Gleiches Ergebnis: Keine Save-Aktion möglich, weil sofort im Save-Menu (des Explorers) aufgehängt, wobei eben immer wieder der Ordner "bb" als vorgegeben erscheint und nicht veränderbar ist.
Das heisst, warum auch immer: PG Music nagelt mich hartnäckig auf diesen Ordner fest, wobei ich ja noch nicht mal nachgucken kann, warum, weil eben nix nix nix mehr geht.

360 Total Security und Panda haben nix gefunden.
zu 4)
Bei anderen Programmen kann ich alles ohne Probleme abspeichern.
Die Speicherung hängte sich auch schon auf, als ich das Programm nur von der PG-Festplatte laufen liess.
Auch bei ausgeschalteter Sicherheitssoftware gibt´s das gleiche Ergebnis: Hänger im Save-Menu, Neustart.
Vielleicht bin ich ja zu doof, aber ich finde z.B. keinen Menupunkt bei BiaB, wo ich den Speicherungsdefault verändern bzw. setzen kann.
Es wird immer nur die Win-Explorer-Routine und "bb" angeboten.
Möglich auch, dass Win7 von vorneherein BiaB-Dateien beim Saven blockiert, aber ich bin nun mal kein IT-Freak.
Falls ich nicht vor lauter Frust hinschmeisse, werde ich das Programm meinetwegen auch in den von PG Music vorgesehenen Ordner "bb" auf die Systemplatte legen.
Aber ich könnte wetten, dass das nix ändert.

Und hilft es, "als Administrator ausführen" auszuwählen?
(Aus dem Kontextmenü, das mit der rechten Maustaste aktiviert wird.)

Nein, hilft nicht bzw. nicht direkt nachvollziehbar.
Habe inzwischen das Menu für die Änderung des Speicherordners gefunden und kann den Ordner auch ändern.
Das war´s dann aber, denn erneut grüsst das Murmeltier:
"BiaB funktioniert nicht mehr".
Die Windows-Hilfe gibt auch mal wieder nix her.
(Ich denke mir mal, dass die windowseigenen "Application Hang"- und "Error Reporting"- Protokolle deshalb hier nicht unbedingt zielführend sind, wie der Lateiner so sagt)
Aktualisierung: Habe jetzt - weiss nicht mehr wie - irgendwie über den Umweg "Song laden" im fertigen Song einen Realtrack erstellt und ihn als *.wave in einem vorher erstellten, beim Speichern allerdings nicht mehr veränderbaren Verzeichnis sichern können.

Das hat mir geholfen, nicht gleich wieder aufzugeben.
Werde tapfer weitersuchen, ob und was noch geht.

Sorry, ich bin mit meinem Latein am Ende. Ich hätte doch das große Latinum machen sollen.  Eine Fehlerquelle fällt mir noch ein. Manchmal geht bei der Installation etwas schief. Hier hilft es, einfach diese Installation nochmal durchzuführen. Dazu braucht auch nichts gelöscht werden. Einfach über die bestehende Installation installieren. Sollte es dann immer noch nicht funktionieren, wäre das dann mein nächster Weg: 1. BIAB und RB komplett (!) von allen im Computer eingebauten Festplatten entfernen und dann neu installieren -- im Verzeichnis C:\bb respektive C:\RealBand 2. BIAB und RB so konfigurieren, dass beide permanent mit Administratorenrechten laufen. (Die Programme mit der rechten Maustaste anklicken, "Eigenschaften" auswählen und unter der Reiterkarte "Kompatibilität" die Berechtigungsstufe "Als Administrator ausführen" auswählen und speichern.) Sollte das Programm dann immer noch nicht laufen, schriebe ich ein e-Mail an support@pgmusic.com. Darin sollten alle wichtigen Daten enthalten sein: Prozessor Speichergröße verfügbarer Speicherplatz auf der Festplatte Betriebssystem mit Versions- und Servicepackangaben Welcher Build von BIAB und RealBand Viel Glück.
