For what it's worth, I find that saving the BIAB file seems to kick in the switching on and off of F5 instruments. Not that I've had that many problems. Just sometimes loosing track of where to switch things on and off. I find I use the save option to kind of clean BIAB (or me) of confusion..... Not very scientific, but it works for me  Thanks Noel for the information on the soloist. I'll try using that in future.
